Two workpiece formats in one system

01 / One platform, two workpiece formats

Switch between sheets
and structural profiles.

The integrated ZG-FC platform combines a flat-sheet cutting bed with a dedicated tube chuck and support line. It is intended for workshops that regularly process both plate parts and tubular frames, profiles or structural components.

  • Process sheet and tube parts without buying two independent laser machines.
  • Configure the fiber laser from 1–15 kW around the real material mix.
  • Define tube chuck, support system and switching workflow for the project.

ZG-FC-6020LONGER

Nominal 6000 × 2000 mm flat-sheet format from the model designation.

Tube systemCUSTOM

Chuck, supported profile shapes, diameter range and usable tube length are project-configured.

Model names indicate nominal sheet formats. Confirm actual sheet travel, tube diameter and length range, chuck capacity, support method and loading clearance in the technical agreement.

02 / Core capabilities

Two cutting modes.
One production footprint.

The integrated layout is built around mixed sheet-and-tube work rather than a single workpiece format.

Integrated dual function

Cut flat-sheet parts and tubular components on one machine platform for a broader production mix.

Flexible mode switching

Move between plate and tube jobs according to orders, batch size and production scheduling.

1–15 kW power range

Select laser output from the material, thickness, profile geometry, piercing demand and target throughput.

Space and investment saving

One integrated system can reduce the footprint and capital required for separate sheet and tube machines.

Configurable tube fixture

Chuck type, supports, profile range and intelligent switching functions are defined for the application.

Mixed-industry flexibility

Suitable for automotive, furniture, machinery and structural metal fabrication with varied part formats.

03 / Machine details

Sheet bed, tube chuck
and shared controls.

Transparent detail crops come from the supplied catalog rendering; the delivered tube fixture and support layout can vary by project configuration.

01 / OPERATOR INTERFACE

External control console

The freestanding station provides access beside the sheet bed and tube-processing line.

02 / SHEET PROCESSING

Gantry and cutting-head area

The gantry carries the cutting head across the flat-sheet slat bed for nested plate components.

03 / TUBE PROCESSING

Tube chuck and support line

The side-mounted rotary chuck and supports position tubes and profiles for programmed cutting.

04 / Applications

Built for mixed-format
metal component production.

The platform supports sheet panels and tubular structural parts. Final capability depends on material, thickness, profile shape, assist gas and selected configuration.

Automotive partsFlat brackets and panels together with tubular frames and structural components.
Metal furnitureFurniture frames, round or square tubes and decorative sheet panels.
Construction machineryEngineering sheet parts and tubular accessories within one production system.
Metal structuresStructural sheets, pipes and profiles for fabrication and building-related work.

Define both workpiece ranges before selecting the machine. Provide sheet grades and sizes plus tube shapes, diameters, wall thicknesses, lengths and part drawings.

05 / Model range

06 / Project evaluation

From two part families
to one configured system.

The machine should be evaluated with representative sheet and tube parts, not from a single power number or sheet format.

01

Sheet and tube part review

Provide drawings, materials, sheet dimensions, tube shapes, diameters, wall thicknesses and lengths.

02

Configuration study

Match sheet format, chuck and support system, laser power, assist gas and output target.

03

Dual-mode sample cutting

Validate representative sheet and tube parts, edge quality, switching workflow and measurement criteria.

04

Technical agreement

Freeze both working ranges, components, loading method, utilities, software, training and acceptance scope.

07 / Common questions

Before you combine
sheet and tube cutting.

Confirm the real production mix and both working ranges before locking the machine configuration.

When is an integrated sheet-and-tube machine the right choice?

It is useful when both workpiece formats appear regularly but the required output does not justify two separate dedicated systems. Compare actual order mix, changeover frequency, capacity and floor space.

Can it cut round, square and rectangular tubes?

The tube system can be configured for different profiles. Confirm the exact shapes, outside dimensions, wall thicknesses, lengths, weights and clamping requirements before quotation.

Can sheet and tube parts be processed at the same time?

The machine combines both functions, but jobs are normally run in the selected sheet or tube mode. Production sequencing and switching time should be reviewed for the actual order mix.

How should I select the 1–15 kW laser power?

Use both sheet and tube materials, maximum and typical thicknesses, profile geometry, piercing demand, assist gas, edge quality and target output. The highest power is not automatically the best choice.

Are the model-code dimensions guaranteed working areas?

The 3015, 4020 and 6020 names indicate nominal sheet formats. Confirm actual sheet travel, tube capacity and loading clearance in the technical agreement.

What specifications still need confirmation?

Confirm sheet travel and load, tube shapes and capacity, chuck and supports, axis performance, laser source, cutting head, control system, extraction, utilities, dimensions and weight.

What should I send for a recommendation?

Send representative sheet and tube drawings, material grades, thicknesses, profile dimensions, tube lengths, monthly or shift quantities, edge-quality needs and available factory space.

08 / Tell us about both part families

Turn your sheet and tube mix
into one cutting plan.

Share both workpiece ranges and expected quantities. ZG Laser can review whether an integrated machine is the right fit before recommending sheet format, tube system and laser power.

  • Sheet grades, sizes and thicknesses
  • Tube shapes, diameters, walls and lengths
  • Representative drawings and edge-quality priorities
  • Job mix, changeover frequency and shift output
