01 / Continuous heavy-duty production

Keep the laser cutting
while material moves offline.

The ZG-FC high-power platform combines a fully enclosed cutting area with two automatic exchange tables. One table remains inside for cutting while the other supports loading and unloading, reducing non-cutting time in batch production.

  • 3–20 kW fiber laser configuration for thin-to-thick plate applications.
  • Dual exchange tables for overlapping cutting and material handling.
  • Enclosed protection with configurable extraction and automation options.

02 / Core capabilities

More cutting time.
Less table waiting.

The machine is designed around high-power plate processing, exchange-table flow and configurable production support systems.

3–20 kW power range

Configure the laser source around material, maximum thickness, piercing demand, edge quality and target throughput.

Dual exchange tables

Load and unload one table while cutting continues on the other to reduce idle time between sheets.

Thick-plate processing

High-power output supports demanding piercing and cutting tasks for heavy carbon steel and other metal plate.

Full protective enclosure

The enclosed cutting area supports safer operation and organized fume-control integration.

Heavy-duty structure

A rigid gantry and machine platform are intended for stable long-term batch processing under industrial load.

Automation-ready scope

Extraction, automatic loading, software and auxiliary systems can be configured in the technical agreement.

03 / Machine details

Enclosure, controls
and exchange-table flow.

Transparent detail crops come from the supplied catalog rendering; the delivered layout can vary by machine format and project configuration.

01 / OPERATOR STATION

Integrated operator cabinet

The front station places machine controls outside the enclosed cutting area for production access.

02 / PROTECTIVE SYSTEM

Fully enclosed cutting housing

The long enclosed body separates the high-power cutting process from the surrounding work area.

03 / MATERIAL FLOW

Rear exchange-table section

The automatic table section supports alternating cutting, loading and unloading in batch production.

04 / Applications

Built for demanding
plate-production workloads.

The platform serves thick-plate and batch sheet processing. Final capability depends on grade, thickness, surface condition, assist gas and selected laser source.

Heavy machineryStructural plate and heavy components for industrial and engineering machinery.
Sheet-metal productionContinuous batch fabrication using alternating loading, cutting and unloading.
Engineering equipmentThick metal parts and accessories that require stable programmed cutting.
Metal structuresCarbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other project-reviewed metals.

Select from the production mix, not wattage alone. Provide grades, maximum and typical thicknesses, blank sizes, drawings, edge-quality requirements and expected output before confirming the machine.

05 / Model range

Four catalog formats.
One configurable high-power cell.

Choose the working format, laser power and material-flow options around plate thickness, sheet size and production target.

06 / Project evaluation

From plate schedule
to production-ready cell.

High power is only one decision. Table flow, piercing conditions, fume control and automation must be evaluated together.

01

Plate and piercing review

Provide grades, maximum and typical thicknesses, blank size, drawings and edge-quality requirements.

02

Format and throughput study

Match table size, exchange-table flow, laser power, assist gas and shift output.

03

Sample cutting and automation

Validate critical parts and define loading, unloading, extraction and nesting requirements.

04

Technical agreement

07 / Common questions

Before you specify
the high-power cell.

Confirm the plate mix, table flow and automation scope before locking a format or laser power.

When is a high-power machine the right choice?

It is most relevant when thick-plate piercing, cutting throughput or a mixed thin-to-thick production schedule justifies 3–20 kW output. Validate the choice from real parts and output targets rather than power alone.

How do the exchange tables improve production?

One table can remain in the enclosed cutting area while the second supports loading or unloading. This overlaps material handling with cutting and reduces waiting between sheets.

Can it cut carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum?

These materials are within the stated application scope. Actual thickness, quality and speed depend on grade, laser power, cutting head, assist gas, surface condition and process settings.

Does 8025 guarantee an 8,000 × 2,500 mm working area?

The model code indicates a nominal format. Confirm actual working travel, table dimensions, loading clearance and usable nesting area in the technical agreement.

Can extraction and automatic loading be added?

Yes. The reference configuration lists optional dust removal, fully enclosed protection and automatic feeding. Define the required automation level and factory interface during project evaluation.

What specifications still need confirmation?

Confirm working travel, table capacity and exchange time, axis speed and accuracy, supported thickness by material, laser source, cutting head, control system, extraction, utilities, dimensions and weight.

What should I send for a recommendation?

Send plate grades, thickness range, blank sizes, drawings or nesting files, monthly or shift output, edge-quality requirements, handling method and available factory space.

08 / Tell us about your plates

Turn your plate schedule
into a production plan.

Share sheet sizes, thicknesses and output targets. ZG Laser can review the complete cutting cell before recommending a model format, laser power and automation scope.

  • Material grades and thickness range
  • Blank dimensions and drawing files
  • Piercing, edge quality and tolerance priorities
  • Shift output, handling and factory-space requirements
