INDUSTRIAL LASER MARKING

The industrial industry has shifted toward laser marking for part identification with the advent of fiber and CO2 laser technologies. And all signs are that this tendency will continue. Other marking technologies, such as inkjet printing, dot peen marking, and printed labels, are not as well suited for production lines as industrial lasers are today. Laser etching and engraving procedures are quicker than ever, and the resulting marks are more durable, thanks to ongoing improvements in laser technology. Laser etching or laser engraving are required for the majority of industrial marking applications.

LASER ETCHING

Because it generates permanent identifiers without compromising cycle time, laser etching is the best marking solution for most applications. It's mostly utilized in the primary metals industry, metal fabrication (including stamping and welding), and assembly lines.

LASER ENGRAVING

Laser engraving is slower than laser etching, but it is more durable. This method is most commonly used in automotive foundries, such as casting and forging facilities, where laser engraving equipment are used to engrave workpieces at the beginning of the production process.

WHAT’S YOUR INDUSTRY?

We work with clients in the automotive, primary metals, industrial, and conversion industries.

INDUSTRIAL FIBER & CO2 LASERS

ZG LASER produces industrial laser markers with either a fiber or CO2 laser source. Various industrial applications may be utilized for each kind of laser. Fiber lasers, for example, may be used to mark steel, aluminum, and other metals, as well as to remove surface impurities such as paint, oxide, and rust. CO2 lasers may be used to label a variety of organic materials, such as plastics and polymers.

LASER ENGRAVING MACHINES & SYSTEMS

Our laser products include direct component marking systems and equipment that work well in difficult environments and high-volume operations. They require extremely little maintenance, resulting in little downtime. Our lasers are the quickest on the market, therefore short cycle times will not be an issue. Our proprietary laser engraving process creates high-quality, permanent marks that are readable even after surface treatments like as shotblasting and e-coating.

OEM LASER MARKING SYSTEMS

Fiber and CO2 lasers are used in our industrial marking systems. Metal marking applications are the focus of fiber lasers. The laser power of our regular products varies from 20 to 100 watts, while our high-power fiber lasers may reach 500 watts.

CLASS-1 LASER MARKING MACHINES

Our laser marking machines are complete systems that may be simply incorporated into existing manufacturing lines. These class-1 items are laser-safe and provide excellent performance in industrial settings.
