Flat sheet fiber laser cutting
Plate FiberLaser Cutting Machine
A flexible open-table fiber laser platform for flat sheet processing, with four catalog formats and a 1–15 kW laser-power range for project-based configuration.

Primary workpiece format
01 / Flexible flat-sheet platform
Choose the table format
before choosing the power.
The ZG-FC plate platform is intended for flat sheet metal cutting. Its four catalog model designations cover standard, extended and large-format production requirements, while laser power is matched separately to material, thickness, edge-quality and output targets.
- Open-table access for flat sheet loading and unloading.
- Multiple catalog formats for different blank dimensions.
- Fiber laser source with project-selected 1000–15000 W output.
Nominal 3000 × 1500 mm format derived from model designation.
Nominal 4000 × 2000 mm format derived from model designation.
Nominal 6000 × 2000 mm format derived from model designation.
Nominal 12000 × 2500 mm format derived from model designation.
The supplied brochure lists the model codes but not a complete travel table. Treat the nominal dimensions above as model-name interpretation and confirm actual working travel, table dimensions and loading clearance in the quotation.
02 / Core capabilities
A practical platform
for flat sheet cutting.
The page keeps the brochure’s confirmed product scope separate from project-specific options.
Flat-sheet production
Designed around sheet and plate blanks rather than tube, coil or formed 3D components.
Four table formats
Select the model family from the largest blank and nesting plan, then verify usable travel and loading space.
Project-selected power
The catalog lists 1–15 kW. Practical selection depends on material, thickness, piercing and production targets.
Non-contact processing
Fiber laser cutting avoids mechanical tool contact and supports programmed contours from nested sheet layouts.
Gantry motion platform
The catalog rendering shows a gantry cutting-head arrangement over an open slat-bed work area.
Configurable project scope
Laser source, extraction, loading, software and site services should be frozen in the technical agreement.
03 / Machine details
A closer look at
the plate-cutting platform.
Transparent detail crops come from the supplied catalog rendering; the delivered layout can vary by format and project configuration.
External control console
A freestanding console keeps the operator interface accessible beside the open table.
Gantry and cutting-head area
The catalog rendering shows the cutting head carried across the sheet-processing bed by the gantry structure.
Open slat-bed structure
The open platform is arranged for loading flat blanks and collecting cut sheet components.

04 / Materials and applications
Match the process
to the actual sheet.
The catalog lists a broad metal range. Final cut capability still depends on alloy, thickness, surface condition, assist gas and selected laser power.
Do not select from material name alone. Provide the exact grade, maximum and typical thickness, blank size, drawing, edge-quality requirement and expected output before confirming laser power.
05 / Model range
Four catalog models.
One configurable platform.
Choose the table format and laser power around the sheet size, material mix and production target. Final specifications can be configured for the project.

06 / Project evaluation
From sheet drawing
to machine configuration.
A short evidence-based process avoids selecting a machine from wattage alone.
Part and material review
Provide drawings, grade, maximum and typical thickness, blank size and annual or shift output.
Format and power selection
Shortlist the table format first, then evaluate laser power, assist gas and piercing requirements.
Sample cutting
For critical parts, agree on sample material, nesting, edge-quality checks and measurement criteria.
Technical agreement
Freeze working travel, configuration, utilities, software, training, service and acceptance scope.
07 / Common questions
Before you specify
the plate machine.
Confirm the product mix and project scope before locking a table format or power level.
Which model should I choose?
Start from the largest blank size and nesting plan. The model names indicate nominal sheet formats, but actual working travel, table dimensions and loading clearance must be confirmed in the quotation.
How should I select between 1 kW and 15 kW?
Use material grade, maximum and typical thickness, edge-quality requirement, piercing demand, assist gas and target output. Higher wattage is not automatically the best commercial choice for every part mix.
Can it cut stainless steel and aluminum?
The product materials list includes stainless steel and aluminum alloy as well as carbon steel and other metal grades. Confirm the exact alloy, thickness and surface condition through a process review or sample cut.
Is this an exchange-table machine?
The supplied catalog rendering shows an open single-table plate platform. If enclosed cutting and overlapping loading/cutting are priorities, compare it with the separate High Power Fiber Laser Cutting Machine family.
Does 12025 mean a guaranteed 12,000 × 2,500 mm working area?
It is treated on this page as the nominal format indicated by the model code. Do not use it as a contractual travel value until the technical team confirms the actual working area and table dimensions.
What specifications still need confirmation?
Confirm working travel, maximum table load, axis speed and accuracy, supported thickness by material, selected laser source, cutting head, control system, extraction, electrical and gas requirements, machine dimensions and weight.
What should I send for a recommendation?
Send a drawing or nesting file, material grades, thickness range, blank dimensions, monthly or shift output, required edge quality and available factory space. Mention whether loading automation is needed.
08 / Tell us about your sheets
Turn your part list
into a cutting plan.
Share the sheet sizes, materials and production targets. ZG Laser can review the application before recommending a model format and laser power.
- Material grade and thickness range
- Blank dimensions and drawing files
- Edge quality and tolerance priorities
- Output, loading and factory-space requirements
